Known for its Mediterranean climate and vibrant beach community, Salou serves as the tourist capital of the Costa Dorada.
Get out of town with these interesting Salou side-trips: Peniscola (Monumento al Papa Luna, Peniscola Castle, &more), Celler Devinssi (in Gratallops) and Scuba & Snorkeling (in Torredembarra). Pack the 12th (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at PortAventura. The adventure continues: make a splash at PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, tour the pleasant surroundings at Capellans Beach, kick back and relax at Llenguadets Beach, and snap pictures at Pont del Diable.
