Mulhouse — 3 nights

An industrial town nicknamed "the French Manchester," Mulhouse is famous for its Peugeot factory, esteemed museums, Alsace wine, and cultural riches.
Change things up with these side-trips from Mulhouse: Riquewihr (La Cristallerie & Vieille Ville), Colmar (Musée d'Unterlinden, Old Town, &more) and Eguisheim (Vieille ville d'Eguisheim, Cave Bruno HERTZ, &more). Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River.
Get out of town with these interesting Strasbourg side-trips: Kintzheim (La Montagne des Singes & La Volerie des Aigles), Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg (in Orschwiller) and Domaine Achille Thirion (in Saint-Hippolyte). And it doesn't end there: take a stroll through La Petite France, examine the collection at Palais de Rohan, don't miss a visit to Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg, and learn about winemaking at Domaine Albert Seltz.
