    Not sure when new management was taken over but , we were so disappointed in our lunch today ! Shouldn’t they leave popular / favourite dishes on the menu? previous chef/cook was much better..oops !

    House and gardens located just off Bexleyheath junction of A2 and at the bottom of Gravel Hill. Lots of parking on site and parkland opposite as well as surrounding the historic Tudor house along...

    Gardens were lovely, well maintained and peaceful. Cafe had a good selection of food/snacks (cakes) hot and cold drinks. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The toilets were clean although the nappy bin was full almost overflowing, the toilet paper had ran out too.

    Hall place gardens is absolutely lush in the spring. So peaceful. A really nice area to go for a quiet walk and a picnic. Plenty of parking. Gates open until sunset. A really clean and tidy place and squirrels all over the place. Would recommend for a free day out!
