Thorndon Country Park, Brentwood

One of the best country parks around! Great variety of scenery and walks. Have to pay a fair amount for parking but the park is maintained very well so worth it. Good toilet facilities. The cafe is very friendly and helpful although a little more food options might be nice. Would highly recommend!

Excellent place to visit anytime of the year. It can be busy at times as this is a popular place for walks. It's easy to get to and they have lots of parking which you need to pay for, at a machine or by phone. You can easily get lost in your own thoughts walking around these woods and it's great for families and dogs ect. You can do it in different sections so it's great for a quick or long hike.
