Scadbury Park is a Local Nature Reserve in Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley. It is also a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation. It is over 300 acres (120 ha), and is part of an extensive wildlife corridor together with Petts Wood and the Jubilee Country Park.Scadbury Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , online itinerary creator Edition.
It has large areas of ancient woodland, especially oaks, and flowers include lily of the valley, which is rare in London. Ponds have London's largest population of protected great crested newts. Much of it is undisturbed grassland, and it also includes a working farm.
The main entrance is in Old Perry Street. The entrance piers still exist.
Also a West Lodge to the estate still exists, also on Old Perry Street.
The London Loop passes through it from Sidcup By-Pass Road near its junction with Perry Street to St Paul's Cray Road.

I 1st started walking round here about 30 years ago and it’s still a lovely walk. Nice place to take the dog for a walk, it’s a shame the moat house was fenced off last time I went

Nice quiet walk in the woods. The footpaths were well maintained with a group of volunteers clearing away a fallen tree as I was there.

Absolutely beautiful nature reserve that offers something new with every visit. The Bear nature trail is just delightful and a lovely way to explore the forest. The Moated Manor is also a lovely point of interest. The Acorn trail offers stunning vistas....look across for horses and rolling hills, look down for incredible parasol mushrooms, acorns and lakes and look up at the towering and magnificent trees. This is an area that is well loved and looked after and it is the ideal place to meander, explore and soak in the nature that is so good for our souls. Fully recommend.

I visited here in May 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. This is a large area of countryside to explore, but some of it can be hard to navigate.
