  • The site itself is beautiful and well worth visiting. The cafe is excellent, so are the staff there and in the reception and shop. We unfortunately went on the boat tour and I want to warn people...

  • It was a nice walk in the countryside. Hardly any wildlife seen and nothing spectacular to see. Looked forward to eating at the Cafe at the end of the walk but very disappointed. Very little on...

  • It was lovely to see usage of old buildings a beautiful well thought out place .very pleasant and helpful staff and so peaceful to spend a day. Visit if you can. Visit 2 roasting hot day so visitors were few. But still an amazing place to visit despite the heat. Seats are a welcoming sight when I'm in pain and a short rest and off again . Butterflies, bees, insects birds and a gorgeous backdrop. Staff were really welcoming and helpful . Toilets clean and tidy . Join the Trust and visit you'll certainly get some exercise. Highly recommended.
  • First visit to Wicken Fen today, we are quite serious Birdwatchers so that was our context in checking it out on ourcwzy to a weekend in Ely. The people in the visitor centre were very friendly and welcoming, the site is very large so we didn't get to see sample all of it but what we did experience was an excellent Winter wildlife habitat with lots of the usual ducks and geese... a female quartering Marsh Harrier, several Kestrels and Buzzards and an array of very active winter Thrushes. There were various activities for children to learn about wildlife too and this is always nice to see. We had a modest lunch at the centre cafe which was good... so all in all a good visit and we will be back.
