Forty Hall was built by former Lord Mayor of London , Sir Nicholas Rainton in 1632. Forty Hall is a stunning estate. They have a beautiful building with a large lake full of ducks, geese and sometimes swans. There's also plenty of forest area to the back and a small farm to explore. A must for a lovely walk out to take the kids for an afternoon out. We often go for a picnic in the summer or to feed the ducks.

Really lovely place. Grounds are well maintained and clean (mostly unless at the end of a hot day where there's litter on ground due to thoughtless visitors!). Huge fields with brook running through it. A fishing lake and woodlands to explore. A great place to bring a picnic and to exercise 🐕. Spring time is a great time to visit with gorgeous flowers in bloom. One of my favourite places
