A 'catch up' meal with three friends. Good meal. Good service and reasonable value. This must be a nice venue in summer. We will be back.

Nice location, overall it didn't quite reach our expectations. The food is over priced for the quality. A large fish and chips is £15.50 then another £1 for a tiny mushy peas. Overall it's a nice pub but you'll not be blown away by the food.. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing!

Lovely old pub (1535) on side of canal. Busy weekends really need to reserve but could get a table in bar, log fires and dog friendly. Great staff and good food. Recommended.
