Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is among the country's most architecturally and historically significant collections of buildings, and houses Liverpool's most exciting attractions. It opened in 1846 as Britain's first structure built from cast iron, brick, and stone, and was the world's first fireproof construction. Start in the Beatles Story exhibit, where you'll learn all about the four Liverpudlians and their incredible impact on modern music. View some of the most acclaimed British and international contemporary art exhibits at the Tate Liverpool. Head into Mersey Maritime Museum to discover Liverpool's maritime heritage, and study ancient and modern slavery in the International Slavery Museum. You'll also find a large selection of cafes, restaurants, and shops among the buildings' grand colonnades. Some of the museums have an entrance fee, but a stroll around the complex is free. Can’t imagine coming to Liverpool without walking through the docks. Just start waking and stop everywhere. Lots of food and drink choices and museums to visit, including the Tate.

Had a few hours to wander round the Albert Dock, so much to see and learn. Lots of history, quaint shops and eateries. The museum is there and other things to explore. Well worth a visit and could easily spend the day and evening. Loved my short visit and will be back.

Great place to walk around and enjoy a stroll. There a nice mix of restaurants, places to enjoy a drink or shops to meander around. Also the Tate gallery is here which is free to go in and enjoy. At night the place is lit up with nice lights and this makes it ever more attractive to be in. Very peaceful at times to enjoy a drink facing the water. During the day you can see different water sports happening in the water in the way of body boards and alike.
