Visited the Walker Art Gallery Liverpool on a very wet Friday afternoon whilst u had a few hour's free. I haven't been to this gallery in over 20 years so I thought it was about time I went again. I wasn't disappointed, the Walker is not only a beautiful building bit the various forms of artwork , paintings , sculptures and other antiquities are stunning beautiful. There's classical sculpture and contemporary art. There's so much to see you'd need a whole day to absorb and study the art works. I'll definitely go back and soon as I didn't spend long enough there. Its a free gallery although they're are some exhibitions you have to pay to see I think. If you're in Liverpool put the Walker on your list of must see places. 👍🏻

Excellent place to visit with knowledgeable and helpful staff. There is always lots exhibitions on some permanent some temporary.At the moment the Tudors art exhibition is on show and it is so breathtaking it has to be seen to be believed just how good it is. All that history and spectacular paintings under one roof how privileged i was to see it. There is also a lovely cafe and souvenir shop on sight.
