Create an itinerary including Leeds Castle
A favorite wedding venue for local couples, Leeds Castle is widely regarded as one of England’s most romantic locations. A castle has been on this site since 1119, eventually coming into the hands of King Edward I, for whom it became a beloved home. Henry VIII used it in the 16th century, making it an official residence for his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. Today, the castle is a major attraction, including a maze, grotto, golf course, and what may be the world’s only museum of dog collars. Tickets are valid for a whole year, so you can visit the castle as many times as you wish. Skip the long line by booking online. • Huge and fabulous grounds to wlk through on the way to the Castle, which is a very pretty castle. Sadly had building work going on which slightly detracted from the look, but definitely worth a visit.

  • A great day out. Very picturesque. Lots of photo opportunities. Ideal for bringing picnics as it has both gardens and park like grounds. Lots to do for the kids with crazy golf, climbing, swings and bird of prey shows. The castle is very interesting with lots of information about what you are looking at.
  • Visited Leeds Castle in half term, beautiful grounds very well maintained. Great play areas for the kids, tough but fun crazy golf course. There is a bird of prey centre but this wasn't on during that week, however, the birds were on display in their shelters. The Castle itself is an impressive structure and nice to look around. There is also a tricky maze to negotiate but again good fun. All the staff were friendly and polite. Would highly recommend for a relaxed day out.
