We came here for a 90min session for my daughter's birthday. The couple who ran the session were very experienced (40 years worth) and clearly are comfortable with teaching groups. We were one of four archers of various ages and experience. They constantly offered tips and pointers and even cracked the occasional joke to keep everyone engaged and smiling. They provide a variety of different bows and explain their functions, which you get to practice with all of them. Kodak the dog was also a source of unintentional entertainment. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it, she's 12, but 90 mins drawing bows had tired her out. Don't let this put you off as there are different bows for different abilities. We'll definitely be back again in the summer.
Neil and Jenny are adorable and encouraging teachers. We had so much time on the range (our session lasted like 3 hours!) and enough time to really work on some technique and consistency. Was also fun to and try a variety of bows. Google maps doesn’t take you to the correct place tho - this is inside the Arboretum on the other side of the road/top of the Hill.
