In addition to serving as the cathedral church for the diocese of Oxford, Christ Church Cathedral is one of the largest colleges of the University of Oxford. Traditionally considered the most aristocratic college of its university, the institution has produced thirteen British prime ministers, equal to the number produced by all 45 other Oxford colleges combined. John Locke, John Wesley, Robert Peel, William Gladstone, and W.H. Auden studied here, to name just a few notable alumni. Throughout its history, the college’s world-famous Cathedral Choir has attracted many distinguished composers and organists, with many award-winning recordings to its credit. Guided tours of the site’s historic buildings and its well-known art collection are available weekly. Personalized tours, tailored to individual interests, can also be arranged. Beautiful location. Audio tour is a must, much information told which i never knew. We went at the end of november and there was construction almost everywhere we looked, so 75% of the time we had an awe inspiring view. Signage for tour were obscure at some places, causing you to miss whole sections. Guides were available but not at the confusing areas. We went when a ceremony was happening as well and it was pretty neat to see the graduates in their full ceremonial dress.

Impressive views, where you can visit some parts where Harry Potter was inspired and some very nice buildings inside. The entrance is around 14£, the only pity is that when we went there the main hall was closed.
