Amazing views and a wonderful walk. We spent the whole afternoon walking around the lower reservoir and walking to the dam. It was peaceful and scenic. We saw lots of sheep, birds and some cows!!

Great walk today, on your left is a tarmac road, and to the right of the dam, it's more of a good gravel track, as always the peak district is beautiful. Plenty of parking, and if you get there early enough there are places to park on the roadside. There's a cafe and toilets at the bottom of the road.
