Richmond Park
Encompassing almost 1,011 hectares (2,500 acres), Richmond Park ranks as the largest Royal Park in London. The hills and grasslands are home to around 650 free-roaming red and fallow deer. Admire exotic plants in the ornamental woodland garden of Isabella Plantation. Take in the expansive view of the Thames Valley from Pembroke Lodge, the highest point in Richmond Park. If you prefer activity over leisure, you can play golf, fish, or ride a bicycle. Afterward, cool off at one of the onsite refreshment points. You can easily access the park by bus or Tube. There are parking lots if you choose to drive. Beautiful park, with lots of wildlife coexisting! The deers are great to look at! Be careful when driving as there are lots of cyclists that will take up the entire road looking for an accident.

Our second visit here, on the first we’d walked around 10 miles and only seen one side of the park so we walked around the other side on this one. Spotted a few Fallow and then some Red Deer too.

One of the best Parks in London. If you wanna spend a day relaxing and in contact with nature , that’s the place for you! If you decide to have food and drinks, please carry a bag with you, don’t throw litter in the park.

Isabella Plantation is still a magical seclusion from the world's turmoil. The rest of the park retains its sense of grand size & welcome, even in these strange pandemic times.
