  • Well worth a visit with a wonderful guided (free) tour of the cathedral. We didn't have to book just walked in and joined the last tour of the day at 2:30pm. Our guide, Edward Thomas was super relaying all the historical facts about this interesting building. The tour was just over an hour long and was well worth a donation. Nice cafe inside the entrance. Small gift shop and helpful friendly staff. The grounds surrounding the cathedral are perfect for a picnic.
  • Lovely architecture and green fields. I went there on a sunny day in Autumn 2021. I was playing around with a old film camera and took one lovely "postcard" photo that showed the English sky being absolutely cloudless and blue. The surrounding area is green and peaceful, suitable for a picnic or just a stroll.
