Nice features and layout. Free roaming peacocks which were entertaining. They were even on the roofs of the pergolas and the house. Koi in ponds, some of which were huge. Some color in January...

Great place to chill out unless it's booked for a private event which rarely is. It's free BTW. Parking is free too. If you can't already tell, it's a place to go see peacocks and peahens up close. The peacocks and peahens are totally fearless, well almost. You can see them casually hanging out and in good numbers, they are everywhere. The trails around it are tiny and don't have anything to do with the birds. They are just there for a small stroll when the weather is good.

This is such a cute place to check out! I love bringing people here when they visit Austin. Seeing the peafowl is definitely the best part but the grounds are pretty too. My only complaint is I wish they maintained it better. Best time check it out is the spring when all the flowers are blooming!
