It's exactly what it's supposed to be a tourist spot. Signs in both directions for 100 miles telling you to stop. Always make it sound interesting. 55 60 years ago my father refused to stop here because he said it wasn't worth the money. I finally stopped 40 years ago once married. It's a good break from the highway good place to stretch your legs. It's obviously changed since my most recent stop last week. Rather bizarre storytelling along the walls now about aliens versus predators. Kind of like a fancy comic book reading. Some pretty nice old vehicles on site to take a look at. The thing is what it is....a thing😁. Souvenir site available dairy Queen on site. Like I said a good place to stop stretch your legs walk through and read and take a look at everything they have to offer.

The thing received a major update a couple years ago, so if you’ve been in the past, it is worth a revisit as it is a totally different experience. This is what every roadside America attraction should be: strangeness with a diversion from the road. Admission is five dollars per person or $10 per family so it is very affordable the gas is higher price than surrounding stations.
