Many of the exhibits at Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum focus on the Pearl Harbor attack and World War II. As you enter, see Hangar 37, a former seaplane hangar that survived the Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941, and was the first hangar developed for the museum. In Hangar 37, admire an authentic Japanese fighter plane and American bombers, and learn about how America manufactured planes and trained pilots to mobilize for war. Next, visit Hangar 79, another survivor of the attack, which has bullet holes on the windows of its doors. Many contemporary jets, historical helicopters, and civil aircraft are housed in Hangar 79. Beyond Pearl Harbor history, the museum features a short film, photography exhibit, and other materials related to aviation, World War II, and life on the island. After touring the museum, test your skills as a pilot on one of the flight simulators. • A piece of American History that cannot be missed. Yes, it's another ~$25 per person but worth the price. Dozens of planes to see with plenty of history, stories and artifacts vital to the allies...

  • Had a blast! My boyfriend and I tried out the 360 flight simulator in the Aviation Museum and got the high score that day! Bought cute stuff at the gift shop and loved supporting the museum! Definitely coming again with my family and friends! PS: Was surprised to find the F-14 Tomcat there, but LOVED IT 😍
  • Super cool museum. Loved learning about the Japanese aircraft and how they planned their invasion. They also have a legitimate Japanese Zero aircraft here to take a look at. Very cool to see up close. This stop was also the first time I’ve ever seen an F14 Tomcat in the flesh. Awesome to see especially after seeing the new Top Gun.
