Ka Lae, Naalehu

Visually appealing. Nice drive to site. Lots of room to park. Short easy walk to the actual "south point marker". Officially, cliff-jumping, cliff-diving not allowed...as per posted signage. The ladder to get back up the cliff (from the water...after you jumped in) is now short. It apparently broke..and no longer reaches close enough to water surface for you to climb back up. See attached photo. One of the locals fishing there told me that some people successfully scale back up the rocks after jumping in. He definitely did not recommend that. He said there is safer cliff-jumping at "End of the World".

An Amaizing place, the drive is beautiful. Breathtaking views. A perfect match of rocky mountain and clear waters. If you are an experienced swimmer you gotta try jump from the Southest point of Hawaii. The claim back up its very challenging 🤙😎
