Create an itinerary including Statue of Liberty National Monument
A gift of friendship from the people of France, Statue of Liberty National Monument long represented the first glimpse of the United States for thousands of immigrants arriving across the Atlantic Ocean from distant lands. The 93 m (305 ft) statue's large pedestal includes an interior exhibit explaining the significance of this icon of liberty and democracy. Designed by sculptor F.A. Bartholdi and dedicated in 1886, the statue represents the Roman goddess of freedom holding a torch and a tablet of laws. It's essential to book tickets in advance. "Pedestal" tickets give you access the inside of the pedestal, the museum, and the Fort Wood level. Reservations to visit the crown can fill up to six months in advance. Ferries depart from Battery Park, New York or Liberty State Park, New Jersey. Check the ferry schedules and leave plenty of time for the security screenings. • You can easily see the Statue of Liberty from New Jersey's Liberty State Park if you travel by car. Manhattan and Ellis Island are also visible at the same time.

  • Iconic visit, really well organised ferry across. They handle crowds so much better than we seem to here in the UK. Busy location but understandably so. Glad we ticked this one off

  • Wow, that's simply all I can say about my visit to the State of Liberty. You see pictures, you see it from a distance, but to actually be right below. It was amazing. Take time to reflect on all of the immigrants that passed through that area on their way to enter The United States. Take time to reflect on what the Statue of Liberty means. I would highly recommend visiting the island that the statue is on versus doing a boat tour around it.
  • $23 for ticket,I would say I have a good time in here,a lot of people traveling statue of liberty. When you finish Wall Street, you just go down street, buy the tickets in the near park. Don’t go yellow one, someone told me yellow more expensive. When you buy tickets go to line, maybe need waiting half hour. I also put schedule in here. You can check. Mark your plan.have a good day! Enjoy your time and life. Thank you 😊
