Since it opened in 1962, the zoo has prided itself on its commitment to conservation and is beloved for its four themed trails. This zoo offers a number of animal encounters, such as Monkey Village, along with a water play area for children and an adventure area called Enchanted Forest, complete with its own tree house. Be sure to go as soon as they open in the morning to see the animals. Afterwards, they are all napping. Very clean and nice zoo! You can see alot of upgrades and additions going on-which shows...

This zoo is fine, but not a place I'd visit again. It's expensive for the size and what was available to see. I loved the white rhino, that was my favorite exhibit. They closed the dino area early..... more

Extremely nice and well maintained zoo. Very big. Exhibits were well taken care of. We loved the little desert walk through. It was very reasonably priced. I think that is probably one of the best zoos I have ever been to. It was easy to navigate. Flamingos are my favorite and they had a really great exhibit with lots of birds! Hole in the rock was very close almost within walking distance if it wasn't too hot. After the zoo we drove over and climbed up and were in awe over the view. Well worth it and I'm so glad we stopped.

I will always and absolutely love this place! Coming to this zoo as a child, and as an adult now makes me so happy! They are creating new exhibits for the animals, and everyone is always trying their best to keep the place clean. The new update in the gift shop is absolutely nice! Of course the food is a bit expensive, but going at the zoo during a nice chilly day is fun! I came along with my sister's school field trip, so we did have to wait a bit. But that's understandable. The string ray bay was absolutely worth it! The people there with red hair, and another person were very nice to my family and I! Feeding the stingrays is so nice. And they make sure you know how to feed them. Always be prepared to pack up snacks, and water! And always please make sure to pick up your trash!
