Wow! Such a nice park in the middle of a busy area of north San Antonio. A ton of options for trails to follow that you can do a super easy quick walk or a true long hard hike. Definitely need appropriate shoes for any of the #2-4 rated trails. Would recommend hiking shoes as there were areas of dirt and slippery rock even bone dry. Some beautiful views and was shady enough to help with the sun. We will definitely be going back for a longer hike. Be aware of the possible wildlife although we didn’t run into anything other than a lizard. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this trail. It is spectacularly marked at every twist and turn, no way I could've gotten lost. Also, clearly gives level of intensity. I started at 7am - 10:30, was shaded mostly the entire way. I chose vista loop, it was steep but Soo good. Restoration trail was the easiest.
