Gorgeous visit on a gorgeous day! Tremendous variety of gardens and plant materials. Came to see Native Texas Trail plantings and found whole areas representing the Hill Country and south and east Texas. Happy to finally see Texas bluebonnets in person! The specialty exhibits in the conservatories were unique and not to be missed. Don't skip the Fern Grotto! Even the gift shop didn't disappoint. Wish I could have brought home some of the live plants for sale as they were a steal! Last shout out to the very helpful ticket seller who kindly showed me how to get around, made great suggestions, and generally set a fantastic mood for my visit - which did not disappoint!

We went in March before all the roses were in bloom yet we still had a wonderful time! The grounds are beautiful and the pavilions were magical. I would highly recommend spending some time at the botanical gardens, I could have stayed all day. Oh and there is an incredible Childrens area with water features to play in and lots of other things to explore. There is a little gift shop that has some grab and go snacks and drinks.
