Part of a World Heritage-listed national park, Phong Nha Botanic Garden remains a great place for a self-guided jungle walk. The national park contains some of Asia's oldest karst mountains and features hundreds of caverns, which makes it a heaven for speleologists. Well, this was a surprise. It involved a scramble across rocks to the top of the waterfall - short and easy, but not for people with mobility issues. But beautiful, A long, well documented walk...

If you are going to travel here by bicycle there’s is a lot of uphill so recommend a moped or a taxi. Good half day activity very rocky so don’t wear flip flops. Nice waterfall and swimming area.

Most satisfying experience yet. After a small entry fee of 40k Dong we had a real nice walk which was rewarded with two beautiful little waterfalls. If you’re lucky you‘ll even be alone at the falls for some quality pictures and paradise feeling Check me out for more reviews @kino.ah (tiktok/Instagram)

Phong Nha Botanic Garden was our first stop in our Green Road loop one-day motorbiking adventure through the Phong Nha national Park. 2 highlights in this garden: 1. Waterfall Trek - Take a mildly difficult trek down the mountain and up the river to a wonderful waterfalls. Take a dip in the cool fresh water before climbing rocks at the other side of the waterfall and back up the trail. 2. Lagoon - Walk about ten minutes in the dense forest and arrive at a swimming hole of cool fresh water. We spent about two hours in the garden before proceeding to Paradise Cave. Don't miss this place.
